Someone else is in my account
Updated 2 November 2026
Act now, in this order. Each step takes a minute.
If you can still sign in
- Sign out the other devices. On Sign-in and security, under Where you are signed in, choose Sign out all other devices, or Sign out beside one device.
- Change your password. On the same page, choose Change beside Password. You need your current password. Pick a new one of at least 12 characters that you use nowhere else. Changing it also signs out every other device.
- Check your ways to sign in. Under Ways to sign in, choose Disconnect beside any Google, Discord or Telegram account that is not yours. A method can be removed only while another way to sign in remains.
- Turn on two-step sign-in, so your password alone is not enough. See Turn on two-step sign-in.
- Check what changed. Look at your username and picture on your Profile and, if you sell, your listings and offers in the seller workspace.
If you no longer know your current password, reset it instead. A reset signs out every device. If your account has no password, secure the Google, Discord or Telegram account you sign in with, with that service.
What the device list shows
Each sign-in shows a device label, such as "Chrome on Windows", when it was signed in and when it was last active. Glored does not store your location. A sign-in lasts 7 days unless it is signed out. Sign out anything you do not recognise, then change your password.
If you can't sign in anymore
- Reset your password from Forgot password. A reset signs out every device, the other person's too.
- If two-step sign-in was turned on and you have no codes, see I lost my authenticator.
- If no reset email arrives, get help, writing from the email address on your account. You can write to us without signing in.
Security alert emails
We email the address on your account when:
- your password is changed, reset or added;
- an email address is added;
- your username changes;
- Google, Discord or Telegram is connected or removed;
- two-step sign-in is turned on or off, new recovery codes are made, or a recovery code is used to sign in.
Each alert says what changed and when (in UTC). If it was not you, choose This was not me: reset my password in the email. Alerts can't be turned off, and an account without an email address gets none.
We do not email you for each new sign-in, so check Where you are signed in when something seems wrong.
Glored staff never ask for your password, a login code or recovery codes, and never message you first outside glored.com. See Stay safe on Glored.
