Stay safe on Glored

Most scams in game trading start the same way: someone asks you to pay outside Glored, to move the talk somewhere else, or to share a password or a code. Say no to all three.

Pay and trade only on Glored

• Pay only at checkout, on the order page on glored.com. Nobody, including a seller, may ask you to pay another way, to pay again or to pay them directly.
• Glored cannot follow or undo a payment made anywhere else, and deals made outside Glored are not covered by Glored Sentinel.
• A lower price for paying outside Glored is a reason to stop.
• While ordering is closed on glored.com, Glored takes no payments. Anyone asking you to pay for something on Glored in that time is not dealing through Glored.

Keep your passwords and codes to yourself

Never share any of these, in a chat or anywhere else:

• the password of your Glored account, your email or a game account you own;
• a login code, whether from an authenticator app, an email or a text;
• your recovery codes.

To receive currency or items you never need to give a password. The seller only needs where to deliver, such as an in-game name, an ID or a server. When you buy a game account, its login arrives on the order page: change its password and email right away.

Glored staff never ask

Glored staff never ask for your password, a login code or your recovery codes, and they never message you first outside glored.com. Anyone who does is not Glored, whatever their name or picture says. Do not answer them, and get help to tell us.

Check the address

Before you sign in or pay, check the address bar. Glored is glored.com, and the site opens at www.glored.com. A name that only looks like it, with extra words, swapped letters or a different ending, is not Glored. If a message sends you a link to a sign-in page, go to glored.com yourself instead.

Keep everything in the order chat

Talk with the other side of an order only in its chat, on the order page. Messages there are checked for contact details, payments outside Glored and passwords, and you both see a warning under a flagged one: see Warnings in the order chat. If something goes wrong, staff deciding a case can read that chat. They cannot see a conversation held anywhere else.

Report it

If a listing, an offer, a seller or a message tries any of this, use Report. A member of staff looks at every report. See Report a listing, seller or message.

If you already shared something

1. Change your Glored password, and turn on two-step sign-in.
2. If you think someone else is in your account, follow Someone else is in my account.
3. If you shared a game account's password, change it in that game.
4. Then get help and tell us what happened.
