Change your username, email or picture

All three are on your Profile, under Your details.

Your username

Your username is your public name, shown on your seller page, listings and messages. You can also sign in with it.

To change it, choose Edit beside Username, type the new one and choose Save once it says "Available."

• Use 3 to 20 letters, numbers or underscores, not starting or ending with an underscore.
• Capitals are kept, but Poison and poison count as the same name.
• Names that could pass for Glored or its staff, such as admin, support or moderator, are reserved, and so is any name containing "glored".
• A name someone else gave up in the last 30 days can't be taken yet.

How often you can change it

Choosing your first username during setup does not count, so you can change it once straight away. After each change, you can change it again 30 days later; your Profile shows the date. Changing only the capitals (poison to Poison) does not start a new wait.

Your old name is held for 30 days: nobody else can take it, but you can take it back. We email you when your username changes, and you can sign in with the new one or your email.

Your email address

Only you can see your email address. Sign-in links and security alerts go to it.

Confirm it. If your Profile shows Not confirmed, open the link we emailed you, or choose Resend link. A link works once and expires after 48 hours. You can ask for a new one once a minute.

Add one. Accounts made with Telegram start without an email address. Choose Add beside Email, enter the address and choose Send link. It is added, already confirmed, when you open the link within 48 hours. Then you can sign in with it, get security alerts and reset your password. If another Glored account uses that address, its owner gets an email instead and nothing changes on yours. You can try up to 5 times in 15 minutes, and a new link goes out at most once a minute.

Change it. Changing the email address on an account is not available yet. If you can no longer use yours, get help.

Your profile picture

Every account starts with a random skull. To use your own picture, choose Change beside Profile picture, or select your picture at the top of your Profile, then Upload a picture. It saves as soon as you choose the file.

• JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB, at least 64 pixels wide and tall.
• It is cropped to a square from the centre and resized to 256 by 256 pixels. An animated picture keeps only its first frame.
• Details stored in the file, such as the camera or the location, are removed.

To go back, choose Use my starting picture: your upload is deleted and your skull returns. The starting skull itself can't be changed. You can upload up to 20 pictures in 15 minutes.

Your password

Your password is on Sign-in and security. Choose Change and enter your current password and a new one of 12 to 128 characters; your other devices are signed out. An account made with Google, Discord or Telegram has none until you choose Set. Forgot it? See I can't sign in.
